The Chicago Cubs have been experimenting with batting Anthony Rizzo in the leadoff spot for the last three games, which is not typical for a prolific slugger of his stature.
Nevertheless, Rizzo continues to rake, and appeared to have pulverized a massive leadoff home run (for the third-straight game) to get things started against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday evening.
However, after a quick conference, the ball was ruled foul much to the dismay of Rizzo and Cubs manager Joe Maddon.
Check out the dinger in question along with Rizzo’s expletive-heavy reaction in the videos below!

The umpires ultimately reviewed the play and confirmed the ball narrowly went foul.
Rizzo was not ejected from the game despite shouting obscenities.
