Fan Hits Umpire Joe West In Head With Baseball From Stands

Being an MLB umpire is a truly thankless job, as everyone from players, managers, coaches, and fans alike highly dislike your existence when you’re forced to make a close call and it doesn’t go their way.

For example, on Friday night, the Miami Marlins vs. Milwaukee Brewers game was briefly delayed in the fourth inning after an idiot threw a baseball at umpire Joe West and hit him directly in the back of his head.

Thankfully, West wasn’t injured, and stayed in the game.
