Back in 2003, the Chicago Cubs were thought to be destined for their first World Series win in almost 100 years when the Steve Bartman incident happened.
Now, with the lovable losers finally getting the over a century-old monkey off their backs, the Cubbies reached out to their most infamous fan with a World Series ring for their 2016 championship.

Doesn’t look like they held back in the diamond department on Bartman’s account.
This just goes to show that even infamy can be lived down eventually.
