Back when Bruce Buffer and Big John McCarthy had much fewer grey hairs, the UFC got to showcase itself on the popular TV comedy ‘Friends.’  Guest star Jon Favreau played a wealthy businessman who tried to become the Ultimate Fighting champion.  His 1st bout was against one Tank Abbott.  Tito Ortiz is the guy in Tank’s corner- they trained together in Huntington Beach for a long time.  About 1 year later, Ortiz would make his pro MMA debut in the UFC.
