Luke Rockhold Should Destroy Michael Bisping
I know that in a typical Michael Bisping fight, there is a lot of trash talking. I don’t know if that is just because Bisping can actually sell his fights, or it is because Bisping actually has that short of a fuse where even mentioning his name is enough to make him see red.
Maybe in the profession of fighting, seeing red is needed every once and while, but it can definitely get you into fights that you have no business being in. The fact of the matter is this: there is such a deep gap in talent between Luke Rockhold and Bisping that the only reason that this fight is happening is because Bisping is angry at Rockhold and it will sell.
I really think this one will be an easy win for Rockhold. Considering the submission game that Rockhold displayed on Tim Boetsch, I am fairly confident that Rockhold can, and will tap Bisping. I’m sure that Rockhold will get some heavy strikes in early, but he is a very smart fighter. If he smells a finish anywhere, he is going to go for it, and I believe that the gap between two is greatest on the mat.
Does Bisping have a saving grace in this fight? Not that I can see. Bisping doesn’t have the power to knock Rockhold out in one shot, he doesn’t have enough time to wear Rockhold down, and he doesn’t have the submission game. His only chance of getting the win in this contest is if Rockhold makes a mistake, which is always possible.
However, Rockhold is amped for this fight; he is going to come in ready in every facet of the game, and he is going to dominate.
