The third fight between Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie really didn’t clear anything up. The first time these two met was in the earliest days of MMA at UFC 1. In that fight Gracie forced Shamrock to submit to a rear-naked-choke less than one minute into the fight. In the rematch at UFC 5 the two fought to a draw after 36 minutes. The results of those two fights which took place more than 20 years ago have never sat well with Shamrock and that’s why he always pined for a third fight against Gracie. After Friday night it’s safe to suspect Shamrock will want a fourth fight.
If you tuned into Saturday’s Anderson Silva–Michael Bisping matchup at UFC Fight Night 84 in London as the scores were being read you would have been excused if you thought Silva was the clear-cut winner. Bisping’s face was a mask of blood. There were open cuts above and below Bisping’s right eye and a third gash on the bridge of his nose. He looked bad. However when the scores were read Bisping was declared the victor by unanimous decision winning the fight three rounds to two.

Nate Diaz went on a wild outburst during a press conference for his upcoming bout with Conor McGregor at UFC 196 on March 5.
