2012 MLS Draft Generation Adidas List To Be Released On Wednesday
The 2012 MLS Super Draft takes place on January 12, 2012 in Kansas City. On Wednesday MLS will release part of their Generation Adidas list for the 2012 MLS Super Draft.
Both the top two prospects Darren Mattocks the Akron forward and Duke defenseman Andrew Wenger are expected to sign Generation Adidas deals. It was reported Sunday that UC Santa Barbara forward Sam Garza agreed to a Generation Adidas deal on Sunday.
Mattocks was originally expected to take a deal in Europe according to Ilves Galarcep who reports soccer news for Fox Sports and Fox Soccer. I previously posted an article that Montreal would take Mattocks with the top pick prior to this announcement. Now Mattocks is expected to sign a Generation Adidas deal and go #1 overall like I originally thought. I really don’t know what to believe anymore with the 2012 MLS Super Draft. We will just have to wait until Wednesday until things with the players are confirmed for the 2012 MLS Super Draft.
