Pros

Kicking Power: Hoffman has amazing kicking power for a forward.

Durability: Hoffman is a tough competitor who rarely gets injured.

Size: Hoffman is 6 foot 160 pounds.  Hoffman has the proper size to play soccer

Learning Rate: Learns new ways to crash the net pretty fast.  Hoffman knows how to get the ball into the box by finishing plays.

Soccer IQ: Sharp, intelligent, and skillful at the striker position.

Awareness: Amazing field vision and decision making.  Hoffman has a knack for attacking the net.

Intangibles: Hoffman has a variety of skills that make him so effective.  Hoffman is a finisher when it comes to scoring goals.

Pinpoint Accuracy: Hoffman displays pinpoint accuracy on his shots.

Goal Scoring Striker: Hoffman managed to score 18 goals as a sophomore.

Dribbler: Hoffman displays top notch timing when dribbling the soccer ball to set up scoring opportunities.

Shoots With Both Feet: Hoffman has the fundamental skill set of shooting the soccer ball with both feet.

Speed: Hoffman shows great speed off of the point of attack.

2012 Generation Adidas Candidate: Hoffman will be a 2012 Generation Adidas Candidate.

Production: Hoffman scored 18 goals at UCLA as a junior.

Potential: I believe Hoffman has enough potential to become the next Taylor Twellman.

My Thoughts On Chandler Hoffman

After Darren Mattocks the most complete striker I see when watching the game tape is Chandler Hoffman.  Hoffman has all the tools to succeed in the MLS as a striker.
