David Ragan might be going to Front Row Motorsports
It is being reported by the Charlotte Observer that David Ragan may have secured a ride at Front Row Motorsports driving one of their cars in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series. David Ragan the winner of the July race at Daytona lost his ride driving the Roush Fenway Racing #6 car when it’s sponsor UPS decided to cut back. No new sponsor was found so the car could not race the whole season and David Ragan was subsequently released so he could find a full time ride.
David is one of the casualties of the slow economy and loss of sponsors for NASCAR. He is one of the last drivers who had a full time ride last year to find a ride for this year. It is unclear if Front Row will be adding a car or if either David Gilliland or Travis Kvapil, their drivers from last year, will be leaving. This is yet another addition to the NASCAR Silly Season. It is expected that an announcement will be made sometime next week.
