The Boston Celtics are about to sign Delonte West according to the Boston Herald. The contract is a non guaranteed contract, but I fully expect the team to keep the one time Celtic. I do not think he will have a problem beating out Oliver Lafayette. This was one of the worst kept secrets as reports from people saying West was looking for apartments near Waltham and he was in town for a physical surfaced. The Boston Celtics are getting a steal with the veteran minimum for a guy that can bring a lot to the table for Boston. Delonte can handle the point and give Rondo a spell.
