Boston Celtics Will Win 60 Plus Games In 2011: Will It Be Enough?

I see a lot of experts picking the Boston Celtics win about 50 to 55 games this year. I think that number is too low. Danny Ainge has done a tremendous job fixing the problems of last season. The Boston Celtics of 2010 had many roster flaws and still won 51 games. The team lacked depth, had serious injury issues from the beginning, and burnt players out to the point that the team needed to shut it down to be ready for the playoffs. The team also got very little scoring off their bench. The team also had issues with motivation at times. All these led to many second half collapses that cost the team needed wins. I see none of these problems in 2011. While like last season the Celtics have a key injury right off the bat in Kendrick Perkins, the team has a plan B in place. This is also a great...
