Danny Ainge has done his job. The Boston Celtics in 2011 are a better team than the one that lost to LA in the Finals in 2010. He has fixed the problem of size with Shaq and Jermaine O’Neal. He has also added depth at other positions with guys like Von Wafer, Delonte West, Avery Bradley, and Luke Harangody and keeping Marquis Daniels and Nate Robinson. The depth should give the starters needed rest during the season. Ainge also has created a culture of combat in the Celtics camp. The team has competition for minutes at every position. Will Tony Gaffney or Luke Harangody see minutes. Will Shaq or Jermaine start at center? Will Von Wafer or Delonte West make the team or play terrible and be cut?
