A brawl, or should I say a shoving match between players of both the Indiana Pacers and the Golden State Warriors occurred late in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s game.

The scuffle began when Warriors forward David Lee and Pacers center Roy Hibbert exchanged shoves underneath the basket. Hibbert then shoved Warriors guard Stephen Curry to the ground as the much smaller Curry tried to come to his teammates rescue. This of course promoted more shoving and pushing, and some players ended up on the baseline near the fans in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Double technicals were assessed to Hibbert and Lee, Hibbert and Thompson, and David West and Curry. Hibbert was ejected after receiving two technical fouls.
The exchange occurred at the 6:09 mark of the fourth quarter with the Pacers leading 95-85. Thankfully, we didn’t have another “malice at the palace,” as the dust settled and the Pacers would hold on for the 108-97 victory.
