After four seasons at Ole Miss, 6-foot-9 power forward Reginald Buckner is moving on from the university. Buckner did not average double-figures offensively in any of his four seasons at Ole Miss, but he found other ways to impact the Rebels. Buckner has good size for the power forward position and he has the strength to play physical inside. Buckner has continued to bring a sense of toughness to the Rebels, rebounding the basketball and blocking shots throughout his career in an Ole Miss uniform.
Buckner does not have the greatest of chances of hearing his name called within the 2013 NBA Draft, so a career overseas may be the ultimate destination for this 6-foot-9 forward, but only time will tell in that regard.
Strengths: Buckner uses his size and strength well, standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing in at 241 lbs. Buckner has averaged at least two blocks per game in all four seasons his seasons at Ole Miss and he can rebound the ball particularly well because of his toughness inside.
Weaknesses: Buckner needs a more refined offensive game. He never averaged double-figures in any of his four seasons at Ole Miss and he should be better at getting to the free throw line. With that being said however, Buckner’s best season at line was a 53.6% mark this past season
