LeBron James is already widely considered to be the best player in the NBA. His explosiveness, fearlessness and championship pedigree has made him one of the most successful players in the basketball world. Now, as he returns home to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, here are five goals he should set for himself for the 2014-15 season.

James learned a lot about himself after his one-hour program titled "The Decision" in 2010, when he broke up with Cleveland on live TV. It is understandable why the media is fixated on James, being that fans have never seen anything quite like him before. However, it should be a goal of James coming into this season to limit his interaction with the media and instead just concentrate on his game and let that do the talking.

By now we are all aware of Kevin Love's ability to stretch the floor and knock down outside shots. But I think James should focus on trying to let Love operate in the post more. The Heat looked most vulnerable when their big man, Chris Bosh, started setting for outside jumpers instead of using his length and post moves. Love is probably a better outside shooter than Bosh, but James should still focus on hitting him down low for buckets inside.

3. Let Kyrie Irving Be a Ball Dominant Player

We all know James relishes isolation set plays where he can make defenders look silly. After all, it was a good chunk of the Miami Heat's offense last year, and you cannot blame them for going with it. However, James should take a step back and let Irving work his magic too in isolation. Being that James has improved his jump shot drastically, if Irving draws the double-team it will benefit James as well as Irving. Win-win.

2. Become a Feared Player in the Clutch

Game-winners like this against the Orlando Magic in the 2009 NBA Playoffs have not happened often for James. He has drawn criticism in the past for passing the ball to other teammates when the game is on the line, with some questioning his "killer instinct". It should be a big goal of James to shut those critics up and show that he can make things happen in the last minutes of games to become a feared threat when the game is on the line.

According to LeBron James himself: "When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission. I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn’t had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what’s most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio." That says it all.
