In 2009, Bosh won a groundbreaking cyber-squatting case against a firm using the URL www.chrisbosh.com. The court awarded Bosh full control of 800 domain names wrongfully appropriated from other athletes and celebrities including himself, Carmelo Anthony and Steve Nash. Bosh later stated he would offer the return of the domain names free of charge.
