Every new season comes with new expectations and that's just what every Nets fan needs after a season that didn't live up to the hype. Here are the predictions for the Nets' 2014-2015 season.

The Nets lost a few key players from last season including future hall of famer Paul Pierce. They will greatly miss his leadership and his scoring. Brooklyn will also miss Shaun Livingston and Andray Blatche who were great off the bench for the Nets.

The Nets didn't have many additions to the team this season, but Jarrett Jack was by far the biggest pickup basically replacing Livingston and the Nets brought in Bojan Bogdanovic after Pierce left. Bogdanovic is still learning the NBA game, but he'll be key this season. Brooklyn also drafted Markel Brown and Cory Jefferson. It will be interesting to see where they fit on this team.

3. Starting Five Prediction

After of a season where there was no doubt what the starting lineup would be, there really is only one change. Joe Johnson at the three and rookie Bojan Bogdanovic will most likely be at the two with Deron Williams, Kevin Garnett and Brook Lopez rounding out the starting five.

2. Bench Rotation

This was a big strength of the Nets' last season and I expect it to be a strength again this season. Mason Plumlee has improved quicker than anyone probably could've hoped and Mirza Teletovic and Andrei Kirilenko will be key off Brooklyn's bench.

The Nets' fate this season all depends on the health of Deron Williams and Brook Lopez. If they stay healthy this team could win 50 games. I won't go that far, but it's very possible. The Nets are very talented and there is no reason, if healthy, that they shouldn't be a top five seed in the East.

Prediction: 48-34
