After just a week into the season, fans are already booing and wondering if head coach Derek Fisher is the right guy for the job. Keep in mind, he was hand picked by team president Phil Jackson, so it's only a matter of time before the pieces fall to where everything starts to click. Over time, he will indeed be a solid coach and the right one the Knicks need for long-term success.

During the offseason, fans got really excited that the triangle offense would indeed come back to the Knicks. After just one week in, it's not taking off as many anticipated. However, it does take time for the entire team to master the ins and outs of this brand new offense. Judging it as a whole in such little time is overreacting to the extreme.

The Knicks have lost some games since they were unable to secure comfortable leads heading into the final stretch. There is no need to panic since there is still plenty of basketball to be played, but for fans to start booing the team, especially at home, is uncalled for. Sure, the Knicks have some key adjustments to make on defense, but they have more than enough time to correct these flaws and move into a winning direction.

Amar'e Stoudemire recently was put in a position to be a player that comes off the bench. Fans are already assuming he's going to only contribute in a limited role but make no mistake about it, Stoudemire will be an absolute monster this year. It's the final year of his contract as most players usually go all in during this scenario and put up some impressive numbers to land an extension. He will be a big part of the Knicks' rotation.

It's only been one week and just because Carmelo Anthony had two bad games doesn't mean that the season is over. Anthony is also adjusting to the new triangle offense as he is the centerpiece of it all, so it's expected once he masters it, everyone else will follow suit. Once he understands and executes in passing the ball to an open teammate -- which is key to making everything gel like it should -- he will be right back to All-Star form.
