LeBron James and Kyrie Irving Exchanged Words; Sound the Panic Alarm
Oh, the poor Cleveland Cavaliers. They’re off to such a bad start this season. How will they ever recover? How will they survive?
We’ve been down this road before not too long ago. Remember? The Miami Heat and the newly formed big three in the fall of 2010 got off to a slow start as well. It takes time for stars to gel. But somehow people forget that.
And now with reports of ‘words’ between Kyrie Irving and LeBron James following the Cavs’ blowout loss on Tuesday — the sky must be falling in Cleveland.
Give me a break. C’mon man. Get real. Stop it.
The Cavs are 1-3 in the weak Eastern Conference. They’re going to be fine. As much as people want these super teams to come together overnight, it just doesn’t happen that way. So what if Irving and James exchanged words? What else would you expect after a trouncing like they one the received at the hands of the Blazers? If the players in that locker room weren’t a bit peeved at themselves and each other, then you could say something is wrong.
The fact that some sites are running with this story is a joke. The fact that some people feel something is wrong with LeBron is a joke. There is absolutely no way, when it’s all said and done this regular season, that the Cavs won’t be playing basketball in the playoffs. They may not be the top seed. The may not be the second seed. But they will be in the postseason.
With six months left to get prepared for the basketball that really counts, I think it’s okay for fingers across the city of Cleveland to be removed from panic buttons.
Where’s Aaron Rodgers at when you need him? Relax………
