The NBA season is still young, with only two weeks of play. That said, the rumor mill is heating up as many teams are looking to get better or free up cap space before the summer. There are a bunch of players rumored to be on the block. Here are 10 early season rumors circulating around the league.

Steve Nash is out for the season, but that hasn't stopped the rumors about him. Some reports have stated that the Lakers would be willing to eat some of his salary and get rid of the contract, or just dump him to a tanking team like the 76ers. Either way, Nash might get dumped as his career is likely over.

9. Iman Shumpert

The Knicks did not reach a contract extension with guard Iman Shumpert before the extension deadline on Halloween, and that has many people wondering if Shumpert will be on the team after the trade deadline. Shumpert hasn't gotten any better in his time with the Knicks, and with many teams looking for a solid perimeter defender, there is reason to believe he won't be on the Knicks if they get the right deal.

The Denver Nuggets might be the worst team in the Western Conference and, if you have watched the Lakers play, that is telling. The Nuggets have a bunch of intriguing players like Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, Kenneth Faried and JaVale Mcgee. The Nuggets should be heading towards some rebuilding, and they could blow it up before the trade deadline.

7. Goran Dragic

This seems to be a head scratcher, but a recent report came out saying that the Phoenix Suns aren't likely to bring back Goran Dragic. Dragic was third team All-NBA last season, leading the fast-paced Suns to an unexpected 48-win season. With Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas also in town, the Suns aren't going to be able to keep three points guards around for long, and it appears Dragic is the odd man out.

6. Rajon Rondo

Rajon Rondo is the biggest name out on the trade market these days. He is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and many teams, like the Kings and Knicks, are said to be interested in the all-around point guard. The Celtics are an exciting team to watch play these days, and they might want to keep Rondo around. Rondo's situation will be worth monitoring more if the Celtics start to tail off.

Alright Laker fans, this part might be tough for you to read. Your team flat out stinks. They are horrible, and Kobe Bryant is going to become the grey mamba soon. In all seriousness, people are starting to wonder if Kobe will end up wearing another jersey by the end of the season, with the Knicks and Wizards being floated around as possible destinations. It is extremely unlikely that this will happen, but who knows these days.

4. Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson is one of the true stretch fours in the game right now. His shooting and rebounding would be a big help to a playoff team, like the Clippers for example. With Omer Asik and Anthony Davis owning the paint for the Pelicans these days, Anderson could be moved if the right deal pops up.

Deron Williams looks healthy this year, but with the Brooklyn Nets cap number being so ridiculously high, they might be trying to move the once great point guard. The Lakers have been rumored to be interested in Williams, but it would likely cost them a first round pick that they desperately need.

2. Kevin Love

Rumors began circulating this week that Kevin Love would still consider signing with the Lakers this summer. This could just be leaked information by the Lakers or a real story that would burn a hole right through the newly mended hearts of Cavs fans. With all those rumors, winning will erase them all, as it would be hard for Love to leave a situation like Cleveland once they get the ball rolling.

Kevin Durant, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2016, is out right now, but that hasn't stopped people from talking about the superstar's pending free agency. The Wizards have been a team mentioned over the last few months, but apparently the Raptors have been rumored to be a possible destination. The Thunder need Durant back desperately right now, but it might be time to start planning for a future without KD.
