The Miami Heat are probably home sick right about now at 15-21, but the team's five game NBA West road-trip has only begun and could be the "make or break" stretch in the Heat season. The Western Conference is no cake walk, and Miami has six straight games against teams from the powerhouse half of the country. Here are the predictions for Miami's next five games.

This has Heat loss written all over it. The Los Angeles Clippers might be sixth in the West, but they would be first in the East. The front court of DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin will be too much for Chris Bosh. Plus, there is Chris Paul to worry about, and besides Dwyane Wade, there is no good answer to that situation. Miami could pull off the upset, but expect a double-digit loss Sunday afternoon.

4. Jan. 13 @ Los Angeles Lakers

This is one the Heat can and need to win! The Los Angeles Lakers are now second best in Hollywood and 12 games below .500. There is always the chance that Kobe Bryant comes out guns blazing and puts up a big game, but the odds have increased with his age. I would take Miami to win this one, but if they don't, it could open the way for a sizable losing streak.

3. Jan. 14 @ Golden State Warriors

The last time these two times clashed, the Golden State Warriors walked away with a 17 point victory in South Beach. Now in the Bay area, expect this one to get ugly for the Heat. Stephen Curry has been known for big outings against Miami, and paired with Klay Thompson, Erik Spoelstra might as well pray. Being the second game of a back-to-back won't help the Heat cause either.

2. Jan. 16 @ Sacramento Kings

This is another one that Miami could snag, but they struggle with big men and the Sacramento Kings have an emerging star in DeMarcus Cousins. Again, this one could go either way, but the Heat have a better chance against the Kings than they do some other opponents in this stretch. Between the Kings and Lakers, Miami could squeeze two wins out of this five game stretch.

1. Jan. 20 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Miami and the Oklahoma City Thunder have history, but that was a different age. Some of the same faces remain and back in South Beach after the road trip, the Heat could pull off the upset. Russell Westbrook has the potential for a big game and so does Serge Ibaka, as the Heat always struggle in the post. With Miami at home, they will put up a good fight, but will end these five games at 2-3.
