In a recent press conference, Denver Broncos GM John Elway starts off by thanking himself “John Elway,” after the team loses in the playoffs against the Indianapolis Colts.
Although he didn’t mean to (or did he?) thank Elway, it is the perfect end to their season. Why shouldn’t John Elway be able to say thank you, it’s what I do when I look in a mirror every morning. My daily mantra is: “Thank you Metta for always being John Elway.”
But the season is over, it is the last time you will see Peyton Manning, Elway and Fox together. At least for now. We will have to wait and see if Manning will be coming back next year.
