The Golden State Warriors really do have strength in numbers

With the 2015 NBA Finals only less than a week away, here are five things the Golden State Warriors need to do in order to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in this best-of-seven series. It may very much come down to the last game, but if the Warriors can stick with their game plan they should come out victorious. After all, they do have home-court advantage.

Defender Andre Iguodala and teammate David Lee need to get it going off the bench. Iguodala needs to give the Warriors that all-important defensive and veteran leadership, while David Lee needs to help anchor the paint. If both help like they are capable of, the Cleveland Cavaliers will have a very hard time slowing down the up-beat Warriors.

Bucket enthusiast Stephen Curry needs to continue his dominant play. Kyrie Irving, even if healthy, cannot guard him. Just keep letting Curry be Curry. And, if Irving is still hobbling, what a fantastic opportunity to exploit that then. It's time to run the Cavaliers ragged!
3. Run some offense through Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut is a very underestimated playmaker, and it should be imperative that the Warriors attack the much slower-footed Timofey Mozgov. If they can keep Mozgov from protecting the paint, the Warriors will get better shots. Make Bogut a playmaker, and the Cavaliers will show weakness.
2. If LeBron James grows tired, the Cavaliers will crumble

The Atlanta Hawks showed us that it is possible to throw the Cavaliers off their game if they make LeBron James a scorer first. The Warriors will guard him with many different players during this series, but it is even more important that he doesn't create shots for others. If LeBron has to score every game, it will be difficult for the Cavaliers to come out on top.
1. Draymond Green needs to be the engine

Green has always been the true catalyst for this Warriors squad, and his role has now become even bigger against the Cavaliers. He is the energy and playmaker of this group, and he has to take full-advantage of all his match-ups. Tristan Thompson is way too big to guard him, so look for him to exploit that early and often.
