The Denver Nuggets missed out on the playoffs once again in the 2014-15 NBA season. They, without a doubt, needed to make a splash in the 2015 NBA Draft as a result — and they did just that.

You could say the Nuggets fell into a dream scenario. Emmanuel Mudiay has a ton of upside. After all, he has all the talent, athleticism and potential in the world.

Although he remains a bit of a mystery since he didn’t play at the college level, there is video proof all over the internet of him showing off his goods out on the basketball court.

Who knows what this means for Ty Lawson (trade city?), but Denver couldn’t possibly pass up on a guy with as much talent as Mudiay — it’s amazing to think six other teams did some passing up on him before the Nuggets were on the clock.

If Denver fans are all about making splashes, they should love what the Nuggets just did in the draft.

Steal of the draft, anyone?
