Despite a ton of talent, the Florida Gators didn’t rock people’s socks off in the 2014-15 college basketball season. Disappointments aside (did Billy Donovan really take his talents to the NBA?), Michael Frazier II still seemed like a lock for at least the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft.
Locks were meant to be broken — I suppose — and Frazier II went undrafted.
All is not lost for the elite shooter, though. Here’s why:
Per @onlygators, Michael Frazier will play Summer League ball for the reigning NBA champs. http://t.co/BEtWJ6fvIH pic.twitter.com/s8NSXFa7fX

From a percentage standpoint, Frazier II had his worst season of his college career … and he still shot 38 percent from behind the arc. In 2013-14, he shot 44.7 percent from deep and drained 118 threes in the process.
Despite the fact that Frazier II makes people pay when left open, he will have to try his luck this summer for the Golden State Warriors. If he impresses, which he will, he will join the champs. Just like that, he could compete for a title at the highest level.
Although going undrafted, especially when a player has as much talent as Frazier II, is a crushing blow, the former Gator should have no problem showing his worth all summer long (Kid Rock style).
