Say what you will about Rajon Rondo, but there's no way to deny that he's an incredibly smart basketball player. Last evening against the Atlanta Hawks, the Sacramento Kings were up by three points with 1.9 seconds left, and Atlanta had one final possession to tie things up. Rondo immediately recognized the play the Hawks had drawn up and directed DeMarcus Cousins to an empty space on the floor where the Hawks were planning to send a player to take a three. Rondo's smarts made the Hawks botch the play, and the Kings held serve for the win.
