A few days ago, someone (who has way too much time on their hands considering they were analyzing his tweets) noticed that New York Knicks interim head coach Kurt Rambis liked a pornographic tweet on Twitter, and it became a story that made the rounds on the Internet because … of course it did.
This sort of thing happens all the time, so it’s not like Rambis is some sort of mega-pervert if that is indeed how the situation played out.
However, ESPN reported on Monday that the Knicks were working with Twitter to find out how Rambis’ account liked the tweet, as the coach denied doing so. If Rambis didn’t like the erotic tweet, this means his account, which has been since been deleted, had to have been hacked.
“Kurt did not like those items on his Twitter page and we worked with Twitter to make sure the situation did not happen again,” said Jonathan Supranowitz, the team’s vice president of public relations, per Parco.
Naturally, the New York media had a field day.

Rambis’ account had also followed an erotic Twitter account named “Great Ass Daily,” which leads many to believe there was no hack job.
Rambis, 57, has been married for 31 years, and could be trying to cover his butt (no pun intended) by claiming the account was hacked. He didn’t do anything wrong either way, so let’s hope this situation doesn’t hurt his professional and personal life in the long run.
