Both have performed well this season and they are in a good position in terms of reaching the top spot in the conference. Here are five games the Raptors must win if they want to truly prove themselves to the rest of the NBA world.

March 8: Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets — The Toronto Raptors should beat the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets no longer have Joe Johnson and the team no longer has any reason to play hard this season. The Raptors shouldn’t let their guard down, but this should be an easy win.

March 2: Toronto Raptors vs. Utah Jazz — If the Raptors beat the Detroit Pistons on February 28, they will enter their game against the Utah Jazz with a five-game winning streak. It is important for the Raptors to have a long streak this late in the season in order to send a message.

March 19: Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls — The Bulls are tied for the eighth spot in the East, but they could also easily be seventh. If that happened, the Bulls would face the Raptors in the first round. The Raptors need to win at least one game in the season series so there can be hope.

March 18: Toronto Raptors vs. Boston Celtics — The first game this month against the Boston Celtics is the second game of a back-to-back, but the Raptors can’t let the Celtics build some momentum to their next meeting a few days later. If the Celtics get confidence, the Raptors will regret it.

March 23: Toronto Raptors at Boston Celtics — This is the final time the Raptors will face the Celtics in the regular season. With the Celtics in the No. 3 spot in the conference and also in the same division, the Raptors can’t let the Celtics win and possibly lose home-court advantage.
