The Los Angeles Clippers have been built to win a championship now, and if they don’t then the NBA‘s most criticized team will have to consider changes. Doc Rivers is on the record as saying he would trade one of the big three if things don’t go well again this season, and as good as this team is they aren’t going to win a championship. These are five players who won’t be on the roster next season.

5. Blake Griffin

If the Clippers are going to trade anyone from their big three it will be Griffin. Chris Paul is Chris Paul and without DeAndre Jordan the entire defense falls apart. Griffin is the tough choice, but he's the right one. Look for Griffin-Carmelo Anthony buzz in the offseason.

4. Paul Pierce

The reunion between Pierce and Doc hasn't been smooth, as Pierce, 38, has struggled in his 18th season. In 17.8 minutes, he's averaging 5.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 35 percent shooting from the field and 31.8 percent from downtown. He has the lowest O-Rtg on the squad with a whopping 94 points per 100 possessions and a PER of just 8.3. Despite being signed for two more seasons, this is likely the last for Pierce.

3. Jeff Green

Jeff Green is another one of Rivers' former Celtics, so the coach jumped at the chance to acquire him during the trade deadline. Green didn't fit in during his stint with the Memphis Grizzlies and is hoping for a better time with the Clippers. Green makes over $9 million this season and likely expects to make the same amount for next year. The Clippers need to upgrade at the wing, meaning they need a player better than Green.

2. Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford is having another Jamal Crawford season, scoring 14.0 points on 40.3 percent shooting and 31.8 percent shooting from downtown. Crawford, 35, has to be nearing the end of his career, and even if he isn't the Clippers need to get younger. As tempting as it may be for Los Angeles to retain the player who's been their super sixth man for the past four seasons, they shouldn't.

1. Pablo Prigioni

Prigioni's value to the Clippers goes beyond his statistics. He's one of the smartest players in the league, and despite averaging just 13.3 minutes and 2.1 points he has an O-Rtg of 101. The Clippers don't have another point guard on their roster, but Prigioni, 38, is on an expiring contract and is likely to take a long look at retirement.
