A few weeks ago in a continued attempt to rebrand the franchise and distance it from former owner Donald Sterling, the Los Angeles Clippers debuted a new mascot named ‘Chuck the Condor‘ and no one was impressed.
Clippers’ new Chuck the Condor mascot is a for-the-birds idea that never should’ve been hatched https://t.co/LMIKXWNv8p

However, the team got off to a fast start with Chuck around, so he began to grow on people.

Maybe Chuck the Condor is the Clippers’ good luck charm! pic.twitter.com/LYKgg1p969

Despite seemingly bringing the Clippers some solid luck, many still believe Chuck the Condor could use a facelift, so to speak. And after a run-in with New York Knicks center Robin Lopez, it’s clear Chuck the Condor needs to do something about his image.

Insert the one and only Kanye West.
Steve Ballmer can I please redesign the Clippers mascot
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) March 13, 2016
Apparently, Kanye is open to taking some time between Twitter rants and paparazzi encounters to try and help Chuck the Condor out. And Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is surprisingly open to the idea.
@kanyewest @LAClippers love Chuck but love your creativity. Lets talk. Lunch?

@kanyewest Better than lunch. Let’s grab a Clips game together and talk

Chuck the Condor, however, isn’t incredibly thrilled.
I miss the old Kanye. https://t.co/staijL8Jpf

Stay tuned, folks. This story can only become more interesting by the day with Kanye involved.
