Alexis Jones an activist seeking to end sexual harassment domestic violence and sexual violence in the athletics community said that on Friday she was on the phone with the NBA to help integrate her "ProtectHer" campaign's message into the league. Everyone loves Zach LaVine, and he is the two-time defending Slam Dunk champion, but I'll take Aaron Gordon over him every day of the week, and twice on Sundays. This big man is an athletic freak, and he got robbed in the Slam Dunk Finals against LaVine.
A man is suing Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith for $2.5 million over a confrontation the two had at a pizza shop at 4 a.m. in New York after the 12-year veteran left nightclub 1Oak. According to ESPN Justin Brown asserts that Smith "turned down a request for a photo and then choked and struck him in his head and neck area." Smith's attorney Alex Spiro seems confident the lawsuit is an unfair attempt to draw cash from the Cavaliers guard who's playing on a two-year $10 million deal.
The Cleveland Cavaliers must see more chemistry from LeBron James and Kevin Love for any hope of contention.
In his last professional trip to Salt Lake City Kobe Bryant experienced a wide range of welcomes and honors as his Los Angeles Lakers took on the Utah Jazz. Finally as the game was coming to a finish things got weirder than a David Lynch movie. Bryant spent after shooting 1-of-11 for five points in 28 minutes tossed his game-used armband to a group of Lakers fans a few rows back.

Only six months removed from lying on his death bed, former NBA player Lamar Odom was spotted at a Los Angeles Irish pub on Saturday night.

This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Cari Champion thinks she's interviewing Brian Windhorst, but Windhorst is actually somewhere in dreamland while she's talking. I do give him credit though, as he immediately started talking when he came to.

Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher would probably like to fight in real life, and the new UFC 2 video game offered a simulated glimpse at what an Octagon brawl between the two might look like.
Kristaps Porzingis fell down after the play, but otherwise his big rejection of Alonzo Gee looked fairly easy.
