The idea of two Stephen Currys would inspire serious nightmares for opposing NBA coaches, but for now the second rendering of the league’s best shooter is only a wax figure. On Thursday, Curry helped unveil his wax figure at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco.

Curry relayed a story about his personal life related to wax figures, with a visit to Madame Tussauds in Hollywood on one of the first dates he had with his wife Ayesha.
“For me and my wife, it’s kind of a funny story,” Curry said. “One of our first dates in LA, we went to the museum on Hollywood Boulevard. So that was one of our first experiences together, walking through and taking pictures with the wax figures at the museum, and now to have one of my own is pretty special.”

It’s not too surprising that Curry’s daughter Riley embraced the wax likeness of her father, while his younger son was apparently not quite as thrilled. The overall sentiment about a wax figure, of Curry or anyone else, is surely similarly split down the middle.
