Michael Jordan Would Sing On Court While Making Defenders Miserable

Everyone knows that former Chicago Bulls shooting guard Michael Jordan was one of the biggest trash-talkers in the history of the NBA. However, what isn’t widely known is that not only would Jordan relentlessly pester his opponents with his braggadocio until they were ready to tear their hair out, but he also used to sing while making mincemeat of them on the court.

Former NBA player RoShown McLeod recently joined CBS‘s ‘Brown and Scoop‘ podcast and told some Jordan tales most basketball enthusiasts had never heard before.

“I just remember stories of Jordan singing to guys when he was playing,” McLeod said. “His number one song was ‘Giving You The Best That I Got.’ I remember him singing that to Jerry Stackhouse one day and just putting on a show. It was like he had a concert going on in his own head.”

McLeod claimed Jordan showed no mercy.

“He gave it to you every time,” said McLeod. “He had an answer for everything that came out of anyone’s mouth. Very few guys were able to do that, but when you found a guy like Jordan or a guy like Kobe that could do it, it was a memorable moment.”

So there you have it, folks. The greatest basketball player of all time is also an Anita Baker aficionado, and made sure everyone knew it was the case.
