The Los Angeles Clippers do not have a lot of cap space to work with this offseason, so they will have to be smart with their money. They need to do a better job of surrounding their star players with more defense and shooting, as well as a consistent second unit. None of these players are stars, but they all could help the Clippers improve as a team.
5. Jared Dudley

Dudley had a rough year his first time with the Clippers, but he could be an affordable player who fills a position of need. He is a very good outside shooter and could strengthen the second unit.
4. Jordan Hill

Hill has had an up and down career, but he might be the right fit as the third big man in the rotation. He can rebound, finish and is capable of playing center or power forward.
3. Allen Crabbe

Crabbe is a young, talented player who continues to get better. He is a good outside shooter, while also showing the potential to be a good defender down the road.
2. Jeremy Lin

Lin would be a great combination guard off of the bench, with his ability to create offense and get into the paint. He could play key minutes, giving Paul more rest throughout the season.

Deng would be a great fit at small forward for the Clippers, where his defense would help the team compete with top scorers. He is a good enough shooter to keep defenses honest and can still create his own shot.
