The Houston Rockets will have plenty of cap space this season, and they will need to find players who fit coach Mike D’Antoni’s offensive system. James Harden will likely be the dominant ball-handler once again, meaning the team needs to find more shooting to place around him. They will also need to find big men who are comfortable in a pick and roll or a pick and pop offense.
5. Jared Dudley

4. Marvin Williams
Getty ImagesWilliams shot very well from deep last season, and he would be a great fit at power forward. He can guard multiple positions and could fill a Shawn Marion type hybrid role.
3. Ryan Anderson
Getty ImagesAnderson would be a great offensive fit in this system, as he is one of the best shooting big men in the league. He could stay out on the perimeter to space the floor and give defenses headaches in a pick and pop situation with Harden.
2. Al Horford
Getty ImagesHorford might actually be the ideal center for this team, as he is comfortable rolling to the basket while being a very efficient mid-range shooter. He doesn’t need the ball to be effective and is still a solid defensive player.
1. Kevin Durant
Getty ImagesIt will be hard for the Rockets to convince Durant to leave Oklahoma City, but he is likely their top target this offseason. He would put up unbelievable numbers in this offense, and the organization certainly has the money to sign him.
