Dream scenarios are not simply things for the big screen. Neither are disasters like the one that could be facing the Miami Heat if Pat Riley strikes out at bringing Hassan Whiteside back into the fold.
Ideally, the Heat want to make sure that they secure the triple-double threat, but if they cannot, a perfect “big whale” rebuild would look something like this.

After missing the second half of the last two seasons, Chris Bosh's status has been up in the air. However, it is expected that the All-Star will be available for the beginning of the NBA's new year.

The Heat lifer is hitting free agency for the second time in as many years, but can you really see him going anywhere? The question will be if he is down for a Tim Duncan-esque discount to free space for others.

Al Horford on a contract slightly cheaper than he deserves would be ideal if Whiteside leaves. He's the perfect complement to Bosh granting him a break from banging with centers, and their ability to stretch the floor also makes them interchangeable.

Kevin Durant is "the whale" that everyone is gunning for. The fact that he claims money will not be the deciding factor should give Riley a chance to work his magic towards getting his best small forward since LeBron James.

No offense to Goran Dragic, but a sign-and-trade for Mike Conley would pull the rebuild together. His ability to run the offense and be a spot-up shooter would fit better with Wade and hand their old assistant a replacement point guard in Memphis.
