The New Orleans Pelicans need to add the right players around Anthony Davis, and that includes more shooting. They lost their two best shooters in free-agency, and even though they added Buddy Hield, they need to find more players who can space the floor. They do not have a lot of assets to work with, and will need to look at expiring contracts or players looking to rebuild their value.

Frye was a good fit with the Cavaliers, and it is hard to see them parting with the big man. However, Frye would bring a veteran presence and his shooting would give Davis more room to work.

Korver is getting older, but he would be a good fit playing off of Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans. He is still one of the best shooters in the league, despite an up and down season last year.
3. Jodie Meeks

Meeks has struggled with injuries, and the Pelicans would not have to give up much to get him. He is still a good spot-up shooter, and would be a good addition to their second unit.
2. Ben McLemore

McLemore hasn’t been able to reach his potential in Sacramento, and may just need a fresh start with a new team. He can shoot and would bring more athleticism to the roster.

Ariza is a very good role player, but his fit in Houston remains to be seen. His veteran presence, shooting, and defensive ability would be a good addition to the team.
