Dion Waiters spent the first three seasons of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers before the team traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the three-team deal that brought Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith to Cleveland.
On Monday night, Waiters returned to Cleveland as a member of the Miami Heat and Dion scored 29 points while adding five assists and two rebounds in the Heat’s 106-98 victory.
To put the cherry on top, Dion Waiters put the final nail in the Cavaliers’ coffin with a dagger three-pointer from the midcourt logo with 14 seconds left in the game.
