It may have only been their 14th win of the season, but the Brooklyn Nets‘ buzzer-beating victory over the Detroit Pistons courtesy of a cold-blooded fadeaway jumper by Brook Lopez was one to savor.
In addition to dealing a serious blow to the Pistons’ playoff hopes, this win was the Nets’ third in the last six games.
Which may not seem like much, but when you’ve only won 14 times in 70 tries all season, a .500 stretch is a small victory in a season filled with losing.
