Despite winning three championships (89, 90, 04) in the building, it will always be most remembered by NBA aficionados outside of the Detroit area for the ‘Malice at the Palace‘ incident back in 2004 when Ron Artest‘s Indiana Pacers ended up brawling with both the Pistons and their fans alike.
The Pistons will move into their brand new home, Little Caesars Arena in midtown Detroit, next season.
