After two convincing road wins to start their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Boston Celtics, NBA aficionados were certain the Cleveland Cavaliers would “Defend The Land” with two home wins to complete a four-game sweep.
When it was announced Celtics superstar Isaiah Thomas would miss the remainder of the playoffs with a hip injury, the Celtics were written off as dead men walking.
Through the first half of Game 3, that’s indeed the path Cleveland was on. However, the Celtics somehow managed to mount a miraculous comeback, and Avery Bradley sealed the deal with a clutch — albeit lucky — trey to win the game as time expired.
LeBron James played poorly, going 4-13 from the field for just 11 points. Naturally, James was frustrated after the game, and proceeded to throw some shade at a reporter who he said only comes around when something negative happens to the Cavaliers.

“I was just pretty poor, I mean, what do you want me to say,” James said. “It seems like you only ask questions when we lose. It’s this weird thing with you, Kenny. You always come around when we lose I swear. Yeah…. Okay.”
Yikes!
