Kevin Durant Exits Car, Celebrates Championship with Warriors Fans Outside Oracle Arena

This past season was a vendetta for Kevin Durant, with his move to the Golden State Warriors being dissected and criticized from every possible angle.

But the most satisfying feeling washed over him on Monday evening after winning the NBA championship and the Finals MVP, making him ready to celebrate with the fans he won the trophy for.

This type of acceptance and appreciation for his sacrifice has to be gratifying for Durant.

The Warriors are poised to dominate the league for at least the next two seasons, giving KD the ability to rewrite his narrative and make folks completely forget about him leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder last offseason.
