For as much hype as has been paid to Lonzo Ball and his boisterous father LaVar Ball, you’d think it was a forgone conclusion that he would be the top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
But that isn’t the case, and fellow prospect De’Aaron Fox took the time to educate folks on why he is actually the best player in the upcoming draft.
Many believe the Boston Celtics will select Markelle Fultz No. 1 overall and Ball is a sure thing to go No. 2, but the Los Angeles Lakers have had Fox in for multiple workouts and are reportedly considering all options.
All you need to do is turn on the tape from the NCAA Tournament to see just how thoroughly Fox and Kentucky dominated Ball and UCLA head-to-head in the Sweet 16.
Fox dropped some truth in this interview.
