The 2017 NBA Draft is less than a week away, and the buzz surrounding the top overall pick and the potential of a trade is picking up.
Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly vying to move up with the Boston Celtics to No. 1 overall to select Markelle Fultz.
League sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me that the Sixers and Celtics are in serious talks on a trade involving the No. 1 overall pick.

Of course, Fultz would prefer it if Boston stayed put and took him or the Lakers made the jump.
These teams have been building for this draft class, so it’s pivotal that they hit a home run with their early selections.
The real loser here is Lonzo Ball, who seems destined to slide a bit given the interest in Fultz and lack of enthusiasm behind the kid with the loud father.
