In what’s seemed like a foregone conclusion for quite some time now, the Los Angeles Clippers will be losing both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul to free agency as both are set to opt out of their contracts.
The experiment with L.A. has failed time after time for Doc Rivers and company, making a reboot the only logical next step in the stacked NBA Western Conference.
Obvious destinations for Griffin include the Cleveland Cavaliers, where LeBron James is sure to be recruiting reinforcements.
As for Paul, a contender in need of a point guard like maybe the San Antonio Spurs would make sense given Tony Parker‘s advancing age.
Either way, this incarnation of the Clippers is officially over.
