International basketball has made a large impact on the NBA over the past decade or so, with several imports from foreign leagues playing big roles for championship squads.
The Cleveland Cavaliers hope to have added the next one with their signing of Turkish small forward Cedi Osman.
Oh, and he already peddles some product overseas.
He’s a man after the modern-day NBA player’s heart, with an endorsement deal already earning him some extra cash off the court.
After signing the three-year, $8.3 million deal, Osman plans to continue playing in Turkey for the Anadolu Efes, where he averaged 7.9 points and 3.1 rebounds across 20 minutes in 2015-16.
LeBron James has to be hoping that his moves from that advertisement translate to big things out on the floor in Cleveland.
