Over the summer, the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers sent NBA aficionados all over the world into a frenzy when it was announced that the Cavaliers sent Kyrie Irving to Boston in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a 2018 first round pick.
And when the trade was held up due to concerns about a hip injury Thomas suffered last season, many in basketball circles were writing him off as if he was chopped liver.
Now that the trade is official and everyone is finding closure, Thomas is beginning to open up about the chaotic transaction.
On Tuesday, Thomas posted the video below.
“They say every man is defined by his reaction to any given situation. Well who would you want to define you? Someone else or yourself? Whatever you do, give your heart to it and stay strong”… THE MARATHON CONTINUES!!! #BookOfIsaiah2ComingSoon #ThatSLOWgrind #KeepDoubting #KillaSeason ?: @TeeJayRegan
