The North Carolina Tar Heels are set to have a great year in the 2013-14 college basketball season. However, it is never too early to look ahead. As a result, the Tar Heels have landed Theo Pinson, according to CBSSports.com.
Pinson stands at 6’6’’ and he is listed as a small forward. With his size and talent, he could easily shine in college hoops.
He is listed as the No. 13th rated recruit in the 2014 class, according to ESPN. Being rated that high, you would imagine that Pinson would make an instant impact for one of the best programs in college basketball.

Roy Williams does a great job at developing his players, so Pinson seems to be making a great choice by joining North Carolina.
With two 5-star recruits already set to join North Carolina for the 2014-15 college basketball season, the Tar Heels are already off to one of the best recruiting classes in the nation.
As usual, this team seems to be set for the future. North Carolina usually gets really good recruits, but it is well on its way to having an amazing recruiting class. That tends to happen, though, when you have three top rated recruits joining the team.
Who knows how many more 5-stars the Tar Heels will land or players in general, but Pinson committing is big news for this program. Although this team is set to have a great season, the future is looking just as bright. I am sure many college basketball fans could have guessed that, since we are talking about UNC here.
