The Duke Blue Devils will be losing three very talented seniors, but they still have the talent to be the best team in the ACC in the 2013-14 college basketball season. Incoming freshman Jabari Parker will be a big reason for that.
Anytime you are the No. 2 recruit in the nation, you are pretty much guaranteed a lot of playing time in college basketball. Although that is not set in stone, it will be the case for Parker who will make an instant impact for the team.

There will be some good players returning to the team that Parker will play alongside, such as Rasheed Suliamon and Quinn Cook. Duke may have some problems trying to replace Mason Plumlee in the paint, but it will once again have great shooters and you would think Parker would grab a rebound or two, since he does stand at 6’8”.
Andrew Wiggins may have been the biggest offseason story so far, but that does not mean Parker is a lot less talented because he has the ability to make just as big of an impact next season. Whether the case, it will be interesting to see how he is put into the Duke lineup.
The Blue Devils may have been one game back at the end of the regular season in the ACC standings, but the Miami Hurricanes will have nowhere near the talent in the upcoming season. However, North Carolina should be a top 10 team for the whole season once again. The Tar Heels should give Duke the most trouble, but with Parker joining the team, Duke should be great once again and will likely not skip a beat.
