The Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans will be two of the best teams in college basketball in the upcoming season. As a result, the games played between these two teams will be must-see matchups once again.
Ohio State will be bringing back every single starter, except for Deshaun Thomas, which is a pretty big loss since he did average just about 20 points per game in the past season. However, Aaron Craft will be back and he will once again be one of the best point guards in the country.

As for Michigan State, it brings back just about everyone as well, except for Derrick Nix.
These two teams met three times last year and Ohio State won two of those games. However, those contests were decided by less than five points per game.
The Buckeyes won the Big Ten tournament last season, made the Elite Eight and finished one game back in the conference standings. The Spartans lost by three points in the Big Ten tourney to Ohio State, made the Sweet 16 and also finished one game back in the conference standings.
Indiana will be losing a lot of talent, along with some other teams in this conference, so either Michigan State or Ohio State winning the conference is very likely. However, Iowa will bring back a lot of talent and so will other teams in the conference.
Still, these are the two best teams on paper in the Big 10 and they will most likely have some great matchups–like always–in the upcoming season.
